Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we have an NDA. We respect our clients’ privacy, so please be assured that all information will be kept strictly confidential. We are more than happy to sign an NDA for your peace of mind.
We only work with and specialize in Silver, Solid Gold, Recycled Silver, and Recycled Gold.
We would always recommend that samples are produced and approved prior to the production of the official order. Costs of samples will be advised by your support manager before they are produced.
We prefer receiving design submissions in formats such as PDF, JPG, or STL files for CAD, including all relevant information such as sketches, measurements, and specific design details. This helps our team review everything thoroughly at once and ensures an accurate understanding of your concept.
Our MOQ for production orders is 20 pieces per design in silver and 10 pieces per design in solid gold (for example, 20 pairs of earrings or 20 pendant pieces). Within that quantity, we allow a minimum of 10 pieces to be plated, which gives our customers more flexibility. For rings, the MOQ is 5 pieces per size or metal color, but a minimum of 20 pieces for that casted design (for example, 5 pieces each of 4 different sizes).
We can provide CAD support in most cases. The feasibility and cost depend on the complexity of the design and whether it aligns with our production capabilities. If you share your sketches or ideas, our team can review them and advise if we’re able to assist.
Our lead times are as follows:
- Design development: This stage depends on each project, as some designs require more discussion and adjustments than others.
- Sample creation: Typically completed within 4–6 weeks, or sooner if the design is finalized quickly.
- Full production: Usually takes around 4–8 weeks, depending on factory capacity and how busy our production schedule is at the time.
We are able to provide the complete start to finish process including an immense range of chains. We’re very flexible and can work to whatever the customer requires.
We offer a variety of surface finishes to suit different design styles, including high polish, matte, satin, brushed, sandblasted, oxidized, and diamond-blur finishes. We can also create custom organic textures upon request to achieve a more unique or handcrafted look.
Our Purchasing team is experienced in sourcing a wide range of stones, materials, and components for our customers, as shown in the examples below:
- Semi-precious stones (amethyst, peridot, citrine, etc.) and precious stones (diamonds, sapphires, rubies, etc).
- We also work with granite, turquoise, onyx, shells (such as mother of pearl), and opals, to name a few.
We have a dedicated stone setting department for precious stones, as well as an inlay cutting department, both staffed by highly skilled workers with decades of experience in cutting, polishing, and setting these materials into jewellery pieces.
We keep our clients’ names and brands strictly confidential and cannot disclose them as references. However, we’re proud that over the past 50 years, many of our customers have grown their brands immensely, with some now successfully found in high-end department stores such as John Lewis, Liberty, Selfridges, and Harrods in the UK, as well as Nordstrom in the US.
Our quality control process starts from the very beginning and continues through every stage.
- Every step of production — wax, casting, polishing, and final assembly — is checked carefully by our QC team.
- During the development stage, we send photos and updates at each step, including CAD, master, resin, and any special details, for your approval.
- Nothing moves forward without your confirmation, ensuring accuracy and full transparency throughout the process.
Yes, we offer hallmarking of 925 sterling silver using both stamp and laser methods. We hold accounts with both the Edinburgh Assay Office and our own registered hallmark at the London Assay Office, allowing us to manage the hallmarking process on your behalf for convenience and efficiency.
Alternatively, if you prefer, you are welcome to handle the hallmarking and Assay Office process independently.
Additionally, we can provide a service to liaise between any Assay Office in the UK and our UK office to help coordinate the hallmarking process and ensure smooth handling during shipment.
